Welcome to Lagom

Lagom ( pronounced ‘law-gum’ ) is a Swedish word.  The word does not have a direct translation to English but means a lifestyle that is rooted in balance, living in harmony with your surroundings, feeding oneself from what is living in your surroundings, ‘not too little, not too much, just right’.

Lagom Restaurant & Townhouse in Kenmare aims to bring this idea of ‘just right’ to our guests.  The restaurant aims to reflect the terroir in our cooking, using what is seasonally available, working closely with many locally based producers and suppliers. The townhouse tones and fabrics offer a feel of simple luxury with a colour scheme that was inspired by the beauty and plant life of the local area.
